Job Description
Under the direction of the President/CEO and the Vice President of Membership, the Member Services Manager will assist in all aspects of membership including:  recruiting, retention and collection.
The Member Services Manager will positively and honestly represent the products, services, features and benefits of the LAX Coastal Chamber of Commerce. They will maintain excellence in customer service and provide the best possible service to the membership of the organization. The Member Services Manager will implement the policies, procedures and standards established by the Board of Directors of the LAX Coastal Chamber of Commerce.
Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills are required.

  • Work with President/CEO and VP of Membership on all aspects of membership
  • Acquisition and retention of members
  • Advertising sales for website, directory and sponsorships
  • Prospecting and qualifying new leads
  • Field and telephone presentations to recruit/retain members
  • Collections on all past due account
  • Administration of monthly membership welcome and thank you to renewals
  • In-person visits with members/clients
  • Interact with current members to assess levels of satisfaction
  • Coordinate member/guest participation at networking/special events
  • Participate in Chamber activities and events as needed
  • Create new member/renewal packages
  • Organize volunteer engagement activities
  • Plan quarterly membership orientation
  • Other duties as assigned
