DESCRIPTION:There is a major change happening in our country right now. If you feel anger\, frustration\, and sadness at this time\, remember that those feelings are validated by what has caused them. No one in our country should have to fear for their life because of the color of their skin\, and the death of George Floyd was the last line of unacceptable occurrences that has empowered thousands in our nation to protest. \n\n\n\nWhile most protests around the nation have been peaceful\, we have also seen protests turn into violent rioting and looting. At the LAX Coastal Chamber of Commerce\, we will not sit silently and wait for all of this to blow over. Now more than ever our community needs a space to talk about their feelings\, opinions\, and come up with solutions to create a country we will want our children and grandchildren to grow up in. \n\n\n\nIf you are looking for a place to share your concerns\, exchange thoughts and ideas\, and come together as a community to have difficult conversations\, we urge you to join us this Thursday for a conversation on the current climate. We hope to bring more unity in our community\, and provide a platform for all to be heard\, understood\, and engaged in the future of this country.
