DESCRIPTION:LAX Coastal Chamber "Network for Change" will be walking in support of The American Cancer Society Making Strides Walk Against Breast Cancer. This event is centered on uniting communities in the fight against this deadly disease. \n\n \n\nMaking Strides Walk Against Breast\n\nWhere: Starts at the Santa Monica Pier\n\nDate: Saturday\, October 23\n\nTime: 8am Registration Starts\n\n            9am Networking (Location TBD)\n\n            9:30am Start Walk\n\n           \n\n \n\nWhy: Today\, Making Strides is the largest network of breast cancer events in the nation - and they do more than just walk. They raise money to help the American Cancer Society fund groundbreaking breast cancer research and provide patient services like free rides to chemo\, free places to stay near treatment\, and a live 24/7 cancer helpline. The Making Strides of Santa Monica\, starts from the Santa Monica Pier and then participants follow the out and back route along the bluff Palisades Park overlooking the water.
