DESCRIPTION:Every year the LAX Coastal Chamber plans an event to celebrate the men and women who protect our community day after day. For years our LAX Coastal Chamber hosted an Annual Protectors' Luncheon and five years ago we thought we would try something new to make an even greater impact. Protectors' Appreciation Week has provided an incredible opportunity to thank all of those who keep our community safe.\n\n\n\nWe are excited to also take the time to recognize our frontline healthcare & mental healthcare workers across our community. \n\n\n\nWe are excited to launch of 6th Annual Protectors' Appreciation Week (PAW) celebrating LAPD Pacific Area\, Marina del Rey Sheriff's Department\, California Highway Patrol\, LA County Lifeguards\, US Coastguard\, County and City LAFD\, LAWA Police Detail\, and our countless healthcare workers across our community. This celebration will allow us to honor our local protectors at their stations\, hospitals\, and other places of work. We look forward to showing appreciation by serving meals\, offering treats\, giving thank you cards\, and more!\n\n\n\nDue to the wildfire crisis\, we have rescheduled Protectors' Appreciation Week to February 24-28 to ensure our protectors can fully enjoy the experience.\n\n\n\nJoin the Protectors Supporter Program!\n\nMany local businesses have raised their hands and asked to support our Protectors YEAR ROUND by offering special discounts to our local heroes.
