DESCRIPTION:CANCELED:\n\nGiven the current situation in Los Angeles with the devastating fires\, we have decided to CANCEL January's Public Policy Committee meeting\, which was scheduled to take place virtually from 8 to 9 AM. We know that these are trying times and everyone's efforts and energy are focused elsewhere   supporting their families\, their neighbors\, their employees\, and their work colleagues. \n\n \n\nThe Chamber is here and committed to supporting our business community and all our residents during this time. If you or someone you know needs support\, please remember that the Chamber is here to help connect you with the resources you need.\n\n \n\nWe are tremendously grateful for our first responders serving on the front lines of this region-wide emergency! Stay safe and we look forward to seeing everyone at our February Public Policy Meeting set for Thursday\, February 6th.\n\n \n\nThanks for your understanding and continued support!\n\n\n\n---\n\n\n\nJoin the LAX Coastal Chamber's Public Policy Committee to discuss some of the most pressing and controversial issues that are facing our community and Los Angeles. \n\n\n\nPublic Policy Committee is led by our Public Policy Chairs\, Kristen Lonner of Neighborhood Forward and Debbie Dyner Harris of Cedars-Sinai\, with Advocacy Support from Ted Green of Green Public Affairs & Campaigns.\n\n\n\nThe voices of many are stronger than the voice of one. The LAX Chamber of Commerce represents more than 700 businesses and 15\,500 employees. Together\, we use the megaphone of our membership to support a positive\, competitive\, and diverse economic landscape.\n\n \n\nPlease note\, in January we will be meeting on the SECOND Thursday of the month\, January 9.
