Your Legacy, It's More Than Just Financial

Lifestyle is kicking off the new year with hot topics. We’ve made it through a rough 2020 and now as we start the year fresh there are many things that we’ve said we need to take care of but like many of us, but have we ?
Join us on Thursday, January, 14,2021 for a great conversation about Protecting Your Estate, Your Legacy and Your Memories
We are excited to announce our two special guests:

Debra Koven, Esq. Debra works with  you and your Estate Planning in a special way, She believes knowledge is the key to understanding and empowering you to do what is needed for your family's future when something happens to you. From your stories, to your memories, to your family's values, Debra, will share her unique approach to working with her clients that goes above and beyond just planning for  the distribution of financial assets - but also the health, happiness and wellbeing of your family's future, by passing on the intangibles, including your legacy!

Haleh Shoa, Owner at Picturli specializes in taking your moments in life by curating and designing your memories for today and your family’s tomorrow. As the world journeyed from bulky camera bags to sleek mobile phones, a photographer was born in each of us. We take more photos and videos than ever before, mostly scattered on various devices or lurking somewhere in the cloud. Our printed photos have been all but forgotten, curled up in shoeboxes or stuck in an old photo albums. Haleh will show us: What’s the solution?
You will not want to miss these two dynamic women!

Debra Koven, Estate Planning Attorney, Debra has estate planning practice focuses on helping families, with minor children, in the South Bay community and surrounding areas, to keep their loved ones out of court and out of conflict. She incorporates legacy planning for both monetary and intangible assets, as well as full Kids Protection Planning©. While that is my specialty area, She of course service all people who need my services - and believes everyone over 18 needs some form of estate planning! Debra is the proud mom of one amazing daughter that arrived later in my life. She has been a practicing attorney for 29 years and has a love for educating her community and strives to become your trusted advisor.
Haleh Shoa, Founder & Curator of Picturli. Haleh grew up surrounded by love and nestled between three siblings, where a deep affinity of family stories was instilled in her from a very young age. When her family was uprooted in the 1979 Iranian revolution, they were unable to bring most of their belongings to the U.S. Luckily, her parents managed to bring all of the photo albums and memorabilia. And now, the only memories that remain from her childhood are through the family photos and the stories her family members share, and the ones she has preserved for her family. Haleh founded Picturli from her love of people, her keen eye for photography, and her unquenched desire for storytelling. She feels honored to be able to save family legacy and preserve their story and collection for generations to come. And best of all, she loves to curate beautiful new ways for everyone to enjoy their memories.
