Name: Mortgage Lending 101 - Buying a First Home or Refinancing?
Date: May 29, 2020
Time: 9:30 AM - 10:30 AM PDT
Event Description:
Mortgage rates are at their lowest since Freddie Mac began keeping records in 1971.  Recently, rates and qualifying have changed dramatically.  Rates can change multiple times in a day.   What can you expect in today’s market?  Please join us for another Finance Friday to look at navigating these and other aspects of the home financing process.

You will gain clarity around the following key questions:
  • What drives rates?
  • Why are they not lower?
  • Should I payoff my house?
  • What’s going to happen to HELOC’s in this market?
  • How will a forbearance on my mortgage affect my credit and ability to refinance?
  • Is rate the most important decision point?
  • What should I do if I plan to refinance or purchase?
