New York Food Company | NYFC, a South Bay Catering & Event Production Company, began in 1979 as the dream of Louise & Joe Lohman who owned a popular Hermosa Beach deli by the same name. Today, NYFC serves thousands of delicious meals to local Fortune 500 companies, private jet customers from around the globe, and hungry partygoers throughout Southern California. Wedding couples flock to our two exclusive event venues - La Venta Inn, a luxury, ocean view estate in Palos Verdes and Verandas Beach House, a chic contemporary beach property steps from the sand in Manhattan Beach.
NYFC serves meals in any style cuisine – All-American favorites to global fusion trends– we prepare virtually any cuisine or recipe a client requests. NYFC prepares meals for intimate gatherings to large scale parties. We’ll drop off meals at private residences ready to serve in professional serve ware for as few as 10 guests and serve thousands at special events like the Rose Bowl pre-game festivities!
In addition, the NYFC Celebrations team, offers full-service event planning and production including décor, rentals, floral designs, lighting, entertainment, cocktails, service staff, parking and more. NYFC are purveyors of our own liquor store so we are fully licensed and insured to provide cost-effective bar service for our client’s cocktail menu.
