_______________
reDiscover's programs provide project-based STEAM education at the reDiscover Center, at Title I schools, and at free community events. reDiscover empowers youth, fosters creativity, and supports a lifetime of making.
One child who's life has been transformed by reDiscover is LaFrance, a young girl who had been lost in a complex foster situation. Through her time at reDiscover's Tinkering School LA camps, she found a stable and supportive environment, made personal connections with peers and faciliators, and blossomed as a woodworker and inventor.
With your support, we can engage more foster and homeless youth on the Westside and expand to new service areas in Los Angeles County. reDiscover Center serves over 10,000 students per year with hands on maker activities using recycled materials, real power tools, and facilitated child-centered exploration. Based on the Westside, programs reach across Los Angeles through workshops, classes, Tinkering School LA camps, and community events.
