4th of July Parade, Our National Treasures

On behalf of the LAX Coastal Chamber of Commerce, we’re excited to announce that we’re anticipating being able to hold our 21st Annual Fourth of July Parade. We are working very closely with our City and County officials for guidance and will only proceed with the event with approvals and support from our local governmental agencies. Based on the state’s goal of being reopen by June 15th, declining COVID cases and the news that nearly 50% of Californians have received at least one dose of the vaccine, we hope to bring you this important and beloved community tradition this summer.
While planning and logistics are still underway, this scaled-back parade will focus on local entries and longtime parade favorites, as well as serve as an opportunity to recognize our healthcare first responders and nonprofits who have done so much good this past year. Following health and safety protocols, we’ll be working with our community partners to ensure best practices that promote social distancing and facemasks for our spectators.
We will share updates here as we continue to plan and pivot as needed.
Over the last twenty years, the LAX Coastal Fourth of July Parade has become an important fabric of the neighborhood, and something that unites us all for a day of celebrating and community building. We look forward to safely coming together and hope you’ll join us in making this a special Fourth of July.
