Join Dr. Andres Romero, Leading Infectious Disease Specialist for Providence Health & Services in the Greater Los Angeles Area as he discusses what he is seeing in Los Angeles as well as what might be coming down the road. Join this special virtual "town hall" event to learn from Dr. Romero and have key questions answered.

Dr. Andres Romero, M.D. is a specialist in infectious diseases. Early in his education, Dr. Romero was intrigued by the intricacies of the human body and becoming a physician represented the opportunity to be an influence and promote change in the field. His exposure to complex and infectious disease cases provided him with a sophisticated way of approaching the outstanding combination of variables involved in every case. He thrives to provide empathetic and compassionate care while advocating to deliver personalized medicine to his patients. 

Dr. Romero was a resident of the Internal Medicine program at Yale-New Haven Hospital where he was given the highest award for outstanding efforts in research for his work in MRSA colonization and infection during his senior year in training. After Yale, he went to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and joined their division of Infectious Diseases where he completed his fellowship. Later, Dr. Romero joined the incredible team at Providence Health Services where he serves as lead for the infectious diseases and is on the front line efforts of the COVID-19 pandemic.
