Laura Smith is the Owner & CEO of An Organized Project, LLC, a professional organizing and move management company specializing in downsizing, decluttering, and move management services. Founded in 2017, the company has grown into a trusted team of dedicated professionals serving residential and business clients throughout Southern California.
A self-described “born organizer,” Laura is a Board Certified Professional Organizer® and Certified Virtual Organizing Professional™ with more than 30 years of experience helping clients create calm, functional, and manageable spaces and lives. Her expertise combines organization, operational efficiency, project management, and compassionate client support during life transitions.
Laura began her professional career as a ballet dancer in New York, where she developed the discipline, precision, and acute attention to detail that continue to shape her work today. Through decades of hands-on experience and advanced professional education, she has cultivated the knowledge, mindset, and skills to help clients reduce stress, improve productivity, and regain control of their environments.
Laura is a long-standing member of the National Association of Productivity and Organizing Professionals (NAPO)and served on the NAPO Los Angeles Board of Directors from 2019–2024, including as Past President of NAPO-LA.
