Event Description:
With the holidays approaching, giving back to our community non-profit organizations tends to be on our mind. We find ourselves wondering where we should make a donation (either in time and/or money). How do we know that our donations are being used efficiently? What is the difference between charity and philanthropy? These questions will lead on our dialogue at our November Lifestyles Group Meeting!

In this interactive setting, join us as we explore these various topics, such as:

  • Clarifying your values. ...
  • Recognizing your personal criteria for giving...
  • Understanding an organization’s mission and how it aligns with your values…
  • How to check a charity's legitimacy and if they are reputable...
  • Why to avoid charities that won't share information or pressure you...
“Living a Five-Star Lifestyle” means engaging in your community! Join us to learn more about how to engage in issues that matter to you. Join us as we learn about “The Art of Giving: Identifying the Qualities of a Great Charitable Organization” and how your giving can cause a positive ripple effect.
