Join Heidi Guiyab, owner of ProviStar Acupuncture, and Monica Johnson, Independent Skin Care Consultant with Mary Kay as they discuss holistic health and how important it is to take care of your body’s biggest organ – your skin.

What does it mean to be “holistically healthy”?
What you put in your body directly effects your mind, body and soul and how you treat your body can effect self-esteem and productivity. Heidi Guiyab will be take us on a journey, educating us on strategic ways to improve your health holistically. Starting with acupuncture treatments and nutritional ways to heal your body allowing you to be your best you.

Monica Johnson will continue our journey by educating us on how our body is directly affected by the environment, stress, and diet. We will also learn about importance intentional care of the largest organ on our body, our skin and how to find simple routines to keep to heal, nourish and care for your skin to get that natural glow.

Heidi's passion for holistic medicine began during her childhood. Her grandmother treated her stomachache using cupping therapy, and she was sold. Since then, she has received her bachelor's degree in Health and Wellness with Master's and Doctorate degrees in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine at Pacific College of Health and Science. Through hard work, Heidi has reached her goal of becoming a practitioner using an integrative approach to treat a wide variety of ailments including chronic pain, mental health issues, infertility, and auto-immune disease.

Skin Care Consultant with Mary Kay
Monica Johnson spent over 35 years in the legal field and found she was drowning in corporate burnout. Looking for an opportunity that offered women flexibility, no corporate glass ceiling without taking time away from family became her goal. With unlimited opportunity to empower women and leading with the Golden Rule she found that Mary Kay, Inc. checked all of the boxes. There are more women earning executive incomes than any other company. So she left Corporate America and started her business as an Independent Beauty Consultant with one of the top 5 Million Dollar Units in California. Today, Monica’s mission is sharing the importance of skincare, as part of one’s essential self-care regiment.
