Our October Lifestyles Committee will focus on how to be a politically active woman in your community. At this interactive meeting, you will hear from Kristen Lonner of Burns & Bouchard a public affairs firm. Kristen, a former planning deputy for LA City working for Councilmember Cindy Miscikowski, will share information about pressing issues happening at the State and local levels. Kristen will also share the importance of knowing how to leverage your advocacy tools to navigate the political arena. Living a Five-Star Lifestyle means engaging in your community, join us to learn more about how to engage in issues that matter to you.
Kristen co-chairs our very own LAX Coastal Public Policy Committee discussing the important topics pressing our businesses and community today. A couple topics she will be touching on will include:
- The importance of using your voice effectively and how it can make a difference
- AB5 – Determining whether a worker is and employee or an independent contractor
- Using your community involvement to the benefit of your political and business goals
- And much more…
