Network for Change: Volunteer at WAM Block Party

Please allow me to introduce you to our Chamber’s new committee, “Network for Change”. All are welcome to join in and volunteer from 9-11am prior to the WAM Block Party's start at 11am.  

The Network for Chamber initiative is a collaborative group that brings together diverse business leaders looking to broaden their network, while connecting with local non-profit organizations to make a difference.  We welcome you to share with likeminded business individuals who are interested in volunteering and meeting others.

Westchester Arts and Music Festival (WAM), all funds raised Support Emerson Community Garden:
Where: 8050 Emerson Ave
Date: Saturday, September 18
Time: 9-11am (volunteering for event set-up)
WAM is looking for: 15-20 Volunteers, sign up requested prior to Thursday,  September 9th at 5pm, if interested, please email Kelli Trombley at kelli@laxcoastal.com

FYI… event set-up will be directing people to the correct booth locations, set up of tents, tables and chair and other light manual labor
 
Why:
The 6th annual Westchester Arts & Music (WAM) Block Party is a free day-long community event benefiting the Emerson Avenue Community Garden, with live music and dance, art, vendors & community booths, kids activities, garden tours, food trucks, and socializing – plus a beer and wine garden!
 
Networking Dinner: volunteers are welcome to join… WAM will be hosting a networking/volunteer information pizza dinner the evening before the event on Saturday (Friday, September 17^th, Time: TBD).

We look forward to bringing you many more volunteer opportunities in support of you community that we help support. All organizations are all working extra hard to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all their volunteers and participants.
