Why are some folks so comfortable with people skills while others have challenges connecting? Relating to others is a combination of self-awareness, intention, and a desire to fine-tune one's abilities - a skill to be mastered like any other. Everything discussed and practiced during this session is simple in theory, yet not necessarily easy to do. Join us to add tools to your toolbox, sharpen existing skills, and have fun as a group raising your connection quotient.

Sheila Miller-Nelson, Owner of Midian, LLC. Combining her background as a Project Management Professional, Senior Dale Carnegie Trainer and Certified Sign Language Interpreter, Sheila Miller-Nelson empowers individuals and teams to find their voice, create connections and elevate company culture through communication and leadership training. Impactful sessions such as Disagreeing with Dignity, Leadership During Crisis and Three Pillars of Character guide individuals to better understand themselves and help cultivate a more cohesive environment.
Aside from training, Sheila brings a critically impartial voice when she moderates panel discussions and facilitates team events.
Scott Woodhill is Founder and President of Woodhill Solutions (WS), an Employee Engagement services company specializing in merging science with Emotional Intelligence practices. The goal of all services WS offers is to create more alignment between companies’ needs for productivity/profit and their peoples’ needs for fulfillment/satisfaction. Scott has spent a good deal of time on multiple continents and tries to learn the native tongue of every country he visits (being fluent in two of them).
