Quake Heroes Disaster Preparedness Expo

A free, family-friendly evening of fun and information hosted by the Westchester Family YMCA in partnership with the Southern CA Earthquake Center at USC and RomaScope, featuring the Westchester premier of "Quake Heroes", a one hour documentary focused on survivor stories from the Northridge quake of 30 years ago and information on what you can do now to prepare for the inevitable "Big One". After the film concludes, interact with experts in disaster preparedness and earthquake safety through a curated collection of booths focused around the 7-steps to preparedness, and purchase supplies to help you prepare your household/workplace. In addition, there will be an earthquake simulator on site, a variety of activities for kids of all ages, food trucks and more.
