About Us

Angel City Chorale (ACC) is one of Southern California's premier choral groups, celebrating 31 years of showcasing the spirit and diversity of Los Angeles through music and community outreach. Founded by Artistic Director Sue Fink in 1993 at McCabe’s Guitar Shop with just 18 singers, the choir has grown to over 180 members. Their diverse repertoire spans classical, gospel, jazz, pop, and world music, all while fulfilling their mission to "Build Community One Song at a Time."

ACC gained national attention in 2018 with their memorable performances on NBC’s America’s Got Talent, where they reached the semi-finals. Simon Cowell called ACC “one of the best choirs we’ve ever had,” and their powerful rendition of Toto’s "Africa" earned the Golden Buzzer and captivated nearly 20 million viewers.

ACC also focuses on community outreach, including the Angel City Youth Chorale, which provides free music education to children through partnerships with local elementary schools and Boys & Girls Clubs across Los Angeles, as well as its Tour of Hope which brings live music to underserved communities and service organizations.

Angel City Chorale is a California Non-Profit Public Benefit Corporation and a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. For more information, visit www.angelcitychorale.org or contact pr@angelcitychorale.org for press inquiries.
