About Us

I am a licensed speech-language pathologist (SLP) who teaches individuals with dyslexia to read using Orton–Gillingham–based instruction. During my work in California schools, I supported students with a wide range of communication needs and frequently worked with bright, capable learners who struggled to read but were not effectively screened or supported for dyslexia. This ignited my passion to serve people with language-based reading differences. Today, I work to educate others about dyslexia and provide effective, evidence-based reading support.

I bring a practitioner’s perspective to dyslexia, including how it presents, why it often goes undetected, the phonological skills required for reading, and the strengths that commonly accompany dyslexia. While Orton–Gillingham–based approaches have been used successfully for nearly a century, they remain unfamiliar to many families and educators. My goal is to help close this gap so more children and adults receive the support they deserve.
