About Us

Mellissa is a TV newscaster turned award-winning storyteller, aka storytelling queen. During her four years in the newsroom, she has interviewed thousands of people from all walk of life and crafted over 1,200 on-air stories. Later, she took her storytelling skills to the fiction side and worked on a CBS prime time scripted show called Marital Law starring Arsenial Hall before she started her own company, DuckPunk Productions, Inc.

At DuckPunk, she produces and directs TV commercials and branded content for clients such as McDonald's, Old Navy, Nissan, Verizon, Wells Fargo, to name a few. Besides making content, she also provides sales and communication trainings for corporations such as Westin, SoCalGas, San Diego Gas & Electric, NAWBO, WBENC, and other professional organizations. With over 25 years of industry experience, she has helped her clients raise sales to up to 400%. Awards she won include Clio, Addy, Telly, and Best of Business in Video Production for nine consecutive years since 2012.
